Mama Odie - This Gonna Be Good

Here we are at the final day of Stamp Anniething's March release and today we are showing Mama Odie - This Gonna Be Good.

I opted to make a circle card this time so I sponged in Kitsch Flamingo distress ink, splashed with water, then spattered white ink and Picked Raspberry distress ink .    The shaker part is actually some little bits I ran through the laminator  because sometimes I don't like the bulk of a shaker and this is easy for mailing.  Also used is the Shine Bright die - that's such a cute little die.

Jolly Snowman - Purple Onion

As I was digging through my stash, I came across Purple Onion's Jolly (snowman looking up) and wondered why there's no ink on this stamp because it's just the cutest snowman!  As of today, I can no longer say that because I made a couple of cards with this guy.

The background is distress ink and I applied them in this order:  Picked Raspberry, Tumbled Glass, Wilted Violet, Broken China, Chipped Sapphire and finally Black Soot.  I've used this colour combo several times when doing background because I think it's so pretty.  Taylored Expression's Twinkle Twinkle background stamp and white embossing powder finished it off.

Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific week!

Itty Bitty Barn - Stamp Anniething

Hi there! Today's project is a little top folding card using the Barn Builder die from Stamp Anniething.

I used Aged Mahogany and Hickory Smoke distress ink on a linen textured paper to get the barnwood look.  It was easy enough to do, just lay the edge of the ink pad on the paper and pull down.

I used this project to do my first reel on Instagram and you can view it here. I have to practice a lot more in order to achieve the seamless and perfect reels I see so many card makers making but it's a start.  The barn doors open and I used one of the pigs from the Ted - Let's Ham It Up set and the other piggy on the inside of the card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Image/Sentiment/Dies - Barn Builder Die, Ted - Let's Ham it Up, Prince - Let's Go Crazy (for the birthday sentiment)
Misc - Aged Mahogany, Hickory Smoke distress ink

I haven't made a shaker card for ages but today is the day!  Stamp Anniething also has some new Shaker Pouches which are so hand for shakers.  I used the Card Mat Builder Die to create the stitched border and opening.  The background is Speckled Egg distress ink with white paint spattered on the front and Shabby White Frantage on the back.

Hi there!  Here's my first 2024 project with Stamp Anniething and this is Tina - Simply the Best!  Every month there this year, a new digital image will be released with the usual three new stamps, dies and stencils and this fabulous gal is January's digital image.

I have always been a huge fan of Tina Turner and although I liked every artist with this month's release, this one is my favourite.  I do have to admit, I used a lot of paper on this project... things happened like forgetting to remove the image when I wanted to print the sentiment, etc.  Shouldn't have taken as long as it did but as I always say, ... it is what it is!

Be sure to check out the Stamp Anniething Facebook Fan page for the design team inspiration and the Stamp Anniething website for all the new product.

All Hail the Birthday Girl - Mo's Digital Pencil

I needed a birthday card for someone special so I dug into my Mo's Digital Pencil images and decided to use the All Hail the Birthday Girl.  The image is perfect for the person I made it for and it's so easy to get the image ready because the sentiment is included as well.

I will say though, the colouring and shading took me much longer than I thought it would but I am pleased with the card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
